# Set a member's available hours

PUT https://api.talkif.ai/api/v1/transfers/members/{memberId}/hours
Content-Type: application/json

Sets the weekly schedule inside which transfers to people ring this
member. Outside it the member is skipped even when available for calls;
if nobody is left, the destination's nobody-available path runs. Hours
belong to the organization and apply in every account of it. The member
themselves, or an owner or admin.

This endpoint expects a MemberHours.

- `timezone` (string, required) — IANA timezone the times are in
- `weekly` (MemberWeeklyHours, required) — Ranges per weekday (`mon` … `sun`)

Hours set (normalized: canonical timezone name, sorted ranges)

- `memberId` (string, required) — Membership ID of the member in your organization
- `userId` (string, required) — User ID of the member
- `hours` (MemberHours, optional, nullable) — A member's weekly available hours. A transfer to people rings the member only inside these hours, evaluated on the local clock of `timezone` (a 09:00–18:00 range stays 09:00–18:00 across daylight-saving changes).

## Types

### MemberWeeklyHours

Ranges per weekday, at most 6 per day, not overlapping. A missing or empty day has no hours.

- `fri` (list of MemberHoursRange, optional) — Ranges on Friday
- `mon` (list of MemberHoursRange, optional) — Ranges on Monday
- `sat` (list of MemberHoursRange, optional) — Ranges on Saturday
- `sun` (list of MemberHoursRange, optional) — Ranges on Sunday
- `thu` (list of MemberHoursRange, optional) — Ranges on Thursday
- `tue` (list of MemberHoursRange, optional) — Ranges on Tuesday
- `wed` (list of MemberHoursRange, optional) — Ranges on Wednesday

### MemberHours

A member's weekly available hours. A transfer to people rings the member only inside these hours, evaluated on the local clock of `timezone` (a 09:00–18:00 range stays 09:00–18:00 across daylight-saving changes).

- `timezone` (string, required) — IANA timezone the times are in
- `weekly` (MemberWeeklyHours, required) — Ranges per weekday (`mon` … `sun`)

### MemberHoursRange

A range of local time on one day. It never crosses midnight: for an overnight shift use two ranges on two days, e.g. `22:00`–`24:00` and `00:00`–`06:00`.

- `end` (string, required) — End, `HH:MM` (00:01–24:00), exclusive; after `start` on the same day
- `start` (string, required) — Start, `HH:MM` (00:00–23:59), inclusive
