Everything the dashboard does after design time is available over HTTPS at `https://api.talkif.ai`, and the interesting integrations run in the other direction too: Talkif calling your endpoints during a conversation, and streaming what's happening on a call to your systems as it happens. Three directions, three mechanisms: | Direction | Mechanism | Page | | ---------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | | **You → Talkif** — place calls, manage contacts, read results | REST API with an API key; SDKs for TypeScript and Python | [Authentication](/integrate/authentication), [SDKs](/sdks/server) | | **Talkif → you, during a call** — the agent needs data or to act | Flow functions: signed HTTPS requests to your endpoint | [Call your backend](/build/call-your-backend), [Webhooks](/integrate/webhooks) | | **Talkif → you, as things happen** — status, transcript, ends | WebSocket event stream | [Real-time events](/integrate/real-time-events) | #### [Authentication](/integrate/authentication) API keys: scopes, IP allowlists, expiry, usage and error tracking, revocation. #### [SDKs](/sdks/server) `@talkif/sdk` and `talkif` — install, auth, paging, errors. #### [Build with AI agents](/skills/agent-skills) Install the Talkif Agent Skills into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. #### [Web calls](/sdks/browser) A voice agent on any web page with a publishable key and the browser SDK. #### [Webhooks](/integrate/webhooks) Verify the `Talkif-Signature` header; rotate secrets; delivery limits. #### [Real-time events](/integrate/real-time-events) Subscribe to an account or a call over WebSocket; every event type. #### [Idempotency and rate limits](/integrate/idempotency-and-rate-limits) Safe retries, what's limited and how to behave when you hit it. #### [Meta Lead Ads](/integrate/meta-lead-ads) Call every lead within seconds and feed outcomes back to Meta. > **Note** > > The complete endpoint reference, with request and response schemas and examples in curl, TypeScript and Python, is the [API Reference](/api-reference). > Drive Talkif from your own systems — place calls, receive what happens, and let agents reach your backend mid-conversation. ## Docs - [Authentication](https://docs.talkif.ai/integrate/authentication.md): API keys for server-to-server access — how they're scoped to an account, creating and using one, permission scopes, IP allowlists and expiry, usage and error tracking, and safe rotation. - [Webhooks](https://docs.talkif.ai/integrate/webhooks.md): Every request Talkif makes to your servers — flow functions called mid-conversation — can be signed. How to verify the Talkif-Signature header, handle rotation and empty bodies, and what delivery limits apply. - [Real-time events](https://docs.talkif.ai/integrate/real-time-events.md): Follow calls as they happen from your own systems — a WebSocket stream of call lifecycle events for the account, and per-call transcript, turn, transition and recording events, with replay for late joiners. - [Idempotency and rate limits](https://docs.talkif.ai/integrate/idempotency-and-rate-limits.md): Retrying requests without placing a call twice, what Talkif rate-limits and at what defaults, how a limited request answers, and how to design an integration that never trips them. - [Meta Lead Ads](https://docs.talkif.ai/integrate/meta-lead-ads.md): Auto-call Facebook and Instagram leads the moment they submit, and feed call outcomes back to Meta to sharpen ad targeting.
