Phone Numbers

Bring Your Own Carrier

Connect your existing Twilio numbers or SIP infrastructure to Talkif.

Use your existing telephony infrastructure with Talkif's flow engine. Three integration paths are available: Twilio BYOC, SIP, and WhatsApp Business Calling.

Twilio BYOC

Connect your Twilio account to use existing Twilio numbers with Talkif.

Setup

  1. Create a provider — add a new provider (type: OwnTwilio) with your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token
  2. List available numbers — browse the phone numbers on your Twilio account
  3. Register selected numbers — choose which numbers to bring into Talkif

Once registered, your Twilio numbers appear in the platform and can be assigned to flows like any other number.

SIP Integration

Route SIP traffic through Talkif's flow engine using your existing SIP infrastructure.

Setup

  1. Create a SIP provider — configure your SIP domain, username, password, and protocol (UDP/TCP/TLS)
  2. Register phone numbers — add phone numbers against the SIP provider

SIP numbers are active immediately — no verification call is required. Once registered, SIP traffic routes through Talkif and is handled by your assigned flows.

WhatsApp Business Calling

Connect your WhatsApp Business Account and let agents answer inbound WhatsApp calls. Connect via Meta's Embedded Signup or by pasting WABA credentials, then register numbers under the account. WhatsApp numbers are receive-only, and Meta bills the calling directly — there is no telephony charge in Talkif.

See WhatsApp for setup, number status lifecycle, and pricing.
