Account Deletion

Permanently delete your account with a confirmation step and 7-day grace period.

Navigate to Settings → General to manage account deletion.

Delete your account

Account deletion is permanent. To prevent accidental data loss, deletion uses a two-step confirmation with a grace period.

Step 1: Request deletion

  1. Go to Settings → General
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Check your email for a confirmation link

The confirmation link expires after 24 hours. If it expires, you'll need to request deletion again.

Step 2: Confirm deletion

Click the confirmation link in your email. Your account enters a 7-day grace period — deletion is scheduled but not yet executed.

During the grace period:

  • Your account remains accessible
  • You can cancel the deletion at any time from Settings
  • You should export your data if you haven't already

After the grace period

Once the 7-day grace period ends, the deletion is irreversible:

  • All account data is permanently removed
  • Active phone numbers are released
  • Running campaigns and schedules are terminated
  • Billing obligations for usage before deletion still apply

Cancel a pending deletion

You can cancel at any stage before the final deletion executes:

  • Before email confirmation — the request simply expires after 24 hours
  • During the grace period — go to Settings → General and click Cancel Deletion

Cancellation restores your account to its normal active state immediately.

Before you delete

  1. Export your data — use Data Export to download a copy of your account data
  2. Check billing — outstanding balance obligations survive deletion
  3. Notify your team — if you're in an organization, coordinate with other members

After the 7-day grace period, account deletion cannot be reversed. Make sure you've downloaded any data you need.

Post-termination export

If you need your data after account deletion, contact legal@talkif.ai within 30 days of termination to request a final export.
