Telephony

The phone lines your agents answer and dial from — bought from Talkif, brought from your carrier, or connected from WhatsApp.

A flow needs a line to live on. Talkif gives you three ways to get one, and they can be mixed freely in one account — a purchased US number for the support line, your existing SIP trunk for the numbers customers already know, and a WhatsApp Business number for the customers who’d rather not dial.

WayWhat you getOutboundTalkif telephony charge
Buy a numberA new local number in a supported country, provisioned in secondsyesper minute + monthly rental
Bring your own SIP trunkYour carrier’s numbers, routed through Talkif over SIPyesper minute (lower rate); your carrier bills the PSTN leg
Your own Twilio accountNumbers you already hold in Twilio, used as-isyesper minute; Twilio bills you for the number
WhatsApp Business CallingInbound calls to your WhatsApp Business numberno — receive onlynone; Meta bills the calling

Whatever the source, a number in Talkif has the same lifecycle: it’s connected to one published flow for inbound calls, it can be used as the from number for outbound calls if it has the voice capability, and it carries its own recording override.
